Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. Costa Likely To Face FA Punishment For Kicking Kompany

Chelsea are anxiously sitting by their phone awaiting a call from the Football Association after Diego Costa was caught on camera kicking City's defender, Vincent Kompany. 
Chelsea are very close to the tittle now with their 2:1 victory over Manchester City at Stamford Bridge last night, but could lose their striker - Diego Costa for three games should the FA view his actions merit any form of charges. 
The incident, which saw Costa plant his studs on Kompany's thigh - making the player scream in pain, but was in unspecified way missed by referee Mike Dean and his assistants. 
However, the FA can examine the video footage again and take retrospective action for violent conduct and that could see the Blues lose their top scorer in 3 out of 6 matches in Premiere League tittle race. 
Former Premier League referee, Howard Webb, reckons that the FA will not be looking into the incident – and also dismissed any claim that the incident was worthy of a red card.
“If there was a foul before, and this happens afterwards, then maybe the FA might want to look at it as an act of violent conduct,” Webb said on BT Sport.
“But because this is the foul that Mike Dean penalises, then he has seen it, made a judgement on it and the FA don’t review situations where the referee has seen it.
“Is it violent conduct? It’s a subjective call but he puts his foot and doesn’t really follow through.
“I think it is worthy of a yellow card but probably just short of violent conduct.”

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley opened up that his naivety made him make some "unacceptable" decisions when he first took over the club.  In an exclusive interview with  Sky Sports , which will be aired on Sunday evening’s ‘Mike Ashley: Speaks Direct’ special on Sky Sports Premier League at 7pm, the 52-year-old directly disclosed all, following the marking of his 10 years at St James’ Park. Antoine Griezmann to consider Man Utd offer after U-turn

Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann is reportedly still considering an offer to join Manchester United this summer. The offer has been connected with a move to Old Trafford since the beginning of the summer and a possible twist at Atletico could provoke him to leave for the Premier League. A report in  Don Balon  claims the Frenchman would be willing to join United if Atletico decided to sell goalkeeper Jan Oblak to PSG.
