Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. Cristiano Ronaldo: Real Madrid Is Real Madrid

Real Madrid playmaker Cristiano Ronaldo heaped praises on his team's winning ability after his hat-trick saw to Bayern Munich 4:2 defeat following extra time at the Bernabeu as the Spanish side secured their spot in the semi-final of the Champions League. 
Robert Lewandowski who missed the first leg due to a shoulder problem put the Germans ahead on the night from the penalty spot to level the tie on aggregate following Madrid's 2-1 win in Munich, where Ronaldo had two goals. 

However, a diving header from the Portugal forward Ronaldo with 14 minutes left seems to have been enough to carry the Spanish side through to the other phase, only for a conspicuous own goal from Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos to level things up to 3:3.
Bayern Munich saw midfielder Arturo Vidal collect a red card for what looks like a rigorous second caution to go into extra time with only 10 men.
Madrid made the extra added time count as Ronaldo netted his second of the game in the 105th minute – which saw the forward become the first player to score 100 Champions League goals – although he looked to have been offside but the referee assistant didn't raise the flag, so that's it. 

C.Ronaldo brought to end his hat-trick four minutes later as he rolled the ball in - following a fine race from Marcelo, when he could have been flagged offside again.
A fourth on the break from substitute Marco Asensio in the 112th minute completed a 6-3 aggregate win for the La liga leaders as former Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti endured a miserable return to the Bernabeu.
“We are just winners,” Ronaldo said, quoted on the Real Madrid website.
“Making six goals against a team like Bayern is not easy and we deserve to move through to the semi-finals.
“We played very well, obviously I am very happy to score all three goals, but the team has been great.”
Ronaldo added: “We knew we had to play very well because Bayern can score goals from anywhere on the pitch and proved to be an excellent team, but Real Madrid is Real Madrid.
“In the first half we had many opportunities and we could score a goal or two, also in the second half too.
“Yes, we conceded two goals, but Real Madrid is used to this setback, we won and we are all very happy. ”
Ancelotti who left Madrid after two seasons in 2015 having won the Champions League in the previous campaign, felt the Germans had done themselves proud despite the final result.
“Neuer and the whole team played well, we deserved to come away with more tonight,” the Italian said at his post-match press conference.
“It is hard to come to Madrid and win over 90 minutes and moreover with 10 men.
“Now, Madrid continue and I wish Zizou and his side all the best.”

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley opened up that his naivety made him make some "unacceptable" decisions when he first took over the club.  In an exclusive interview with  Sky Sports , which will be aired on Sunday evening’s ‘Mike Ashley: Speaks Direct’ special on Sky Sports Premier League at 7pm, the 52-year-old directly disclosed all, following the marking of his 10 years at St James’ Park. Antoine Griezmann to consider Man Utd offer after U-turn

Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann is reportedly still considering an offer to join Manchester United this summer. The offer has been connected with a move to Old Trafford since the beginning of the summer and a possible twist at Atletico could provoke him to leave for the Premier League. A report in  Don Balon  claims the Frenchman would be willing to join United if Atletico decided to sell goalkeeper Jan Oblak to PSG.
