Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. Chris Smalling Reacts To Claims Mourinho Has A Problem With Him

Chris Smalling says he enjoys a “very good relationship” with Jose Mourinho, despite the Manchester United coach's clear criticism over the defender’s shortcomings. 
The Portuguese boss has outwardly not been moved by the number of games the England trio - Smalling, Luke Shaw and Phil Jones have missed this season, repeatedly questioning if some of his players have the right mental attitude. 

Mourinho once called out directly to Smalling and Jones to “be brave” when they were sidelined during the Red Devils’ demanding April schedule.
But Smalling insists there is no discord with Mourinho, telling Sky Sports News HQ: “We speak very closely with the manager and we have got a very good relationship.
“All throughout my injury we spoke about the process and when I would be back so it is good that the manager wants you because ultimately he has got that decision of whether you play or not.
“You can take positives from it in that the manager wants you out on that pitch. He wants you to represent him and be that fighter and warrior for him.”
Smalling was, though, determined to make it clear he is as frustrated as anyone by his time out of the side.

“Obviously with a knee injury there are certain protocols that need to happen,” he said.
“With the medical staff and with the coaches, we are pushing all the time. As players we don’t want to be sitting on the touchline or watching the games in the directors’ box. That is no fun.
“We have pushed as much as we can and I am glad to be back.”

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley opened up that his naivety made him make some "unacceptable" decisions when he first took over the club.  In an exclusive interview with  Sky Sports , which will be aired on Sunday evening’s ‘Mike Ashley: Speaks Direct’ special on Sky Sports Premier League at 7pm, the 52-year-old directly disclosed all, following the marking of his 10 years at St James’ Park. Antoine Griezmann to consider Man Utd offer after U-turn

Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann is reportedly still considering an offer to join Manchester United this summer. The offer has been connected with a move to Old Trafford since the beginning of the summer and a possible twist at Atletico could provoke him to leave for the Premier League. A report in  Don Balon  claims the Frenchman would be willing to join United if Atletico decided to sell goalkeeper Jan Oblak to PSG.
