Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. The country, the city and the team change, but football is the same.” After Jordan Ikoko’s own goal gave PSG a 52nd-minute lead, Neymar brilliantly set up Edinson Cavani to make it 2-0 before opening his account for the club with a simple close-range finish with eight min...

'We Had Great Chances To Score Before Them' - Mourinho

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho thinks his side are equal to the task of playing Arsenal despite losing 2:0 against Arsene Wenger’s men in the Premier League on Sunday.
With a long-range conscientious effort from Granit Xhaka and a header from Danny Welbeck put a stop to the Red Devils’ long unbeaten race in the league and this has caused the Gunners to move forward with two points behind United.
“I’m disappointed with the result, not the performance,” said Mourinho. “I liked individual performances and also collective performances.
“We lost because we didn’t score and we had great chances to score before them. They had luck with that goal.
“I can’t ask anymore from my players who haven’t played a minute for several weeks – Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Juan Mata were all amazing.
“The team was good, organised, we tried to win, we played to win, we defended well and Arsenal weren’t better than us in my opinion.”
Mourinho added: “It is all on the Europa League. We tried to play for a result today, you can say I made changes, but you cannot say we didn’t try to win the game. Everything for Thursday now.”
On making eight changes to his starting XI, the Mourinho said: “I feared some players couldn’t play for 90 minutes so I felt I had to make changes.
“We need everybody. We have such a small squad at the moment so it is fantastic for Jones, Smalling and Mata to play minutes.”
