Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. It Was Very Important To Win La Liga - Zidane

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane rained praises on his side’s first La Liga title in five years after a 2:0 win in Malaga on Sunday.
Goals from both Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema ensured Real claimed the points they needed to hold off Barcelona and claim the trophy for the first time since 2012.
And afterwards Zidane admitted it was essential that a club of Real’s stature should re-assert their domestic dominance.
In an on-pitch interview reported by Marca, Zidane said: “It was very important (to win the league). It was a lot of years without winning it and we knew that the league is everything.
“For Real Madrid, because it is the best club in the world, we have to return with this league title.”
Ronaldo produced another leading performance for his side having settled any early nerves by firing them in front after just two minutes.
Zidane added: “The credit is for all of them because they have fought and the message has been that they are all important and have been key to the success.
“(But) he (Ronaldo) is always there to make the difference and I am happy for him – it is a little different because he is always there to do it.
“It has been a difficult season that we worked hard for, with some tough moments, but after 38 games we are top and that is it.
“The Spanish league is the best in my opinion and to win it in this way is incredible – I am very happy.”
Zidane said he would let the title celebrations sink in before he switches his thoughts towards the upcoming Champions League final against Juventus in Cardiff.
He added: “Now we can celebrate – we have to go to [the city centre] because we have to think about all the people that are part of the club. Later we will prepare for the final.”

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley opened up that his naivety made him make some "unacceptable" decisions when he first took over the club.  In an exclusive interview with  Sky Sports , which will be aired on Sunday evening’s ‘Mike Ashley: Speaks Direct’ special on Sky Sports Premier League at 7pm, the 52-year-old directly disclosed all, following the marking of his 10 years at St James’ Park. Antoine Griezmann to consider Man Utd offer after U-turn

Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann is reportedly still considering an offer to join Manchester United this summer. The offer has been connected with a move to Old Trafford since the beginning of the summer and a possible twist at Atletico could provoke him to leave for the Premier League. A report in  Don Balon  claims the Frenchman would be willing to join United if Atletico decided to sell goalkeeper Jan Oblak to PSG.
