Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. The country, the city and the team change, but football is the same.” After Jordan Ikoko’s own goal gave PSG a 52nd-minute lead, Neymar brilliantly set up Edinson Cavani to make it 2-0 before opening his account for the club with a simple close-range finish with eight min...

Wenger Hoping To Sink Sunderland For Final-day Glory

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger pleased that his side managed to take the race for a Champions League spot to the final day after beating Sunderland.
A late minutes goal from top scorer Alexis Sanchez saw the Gunners overcome a stubborn Sunderland side at The Emirates and leaves them a point behind fourth-placed Liverpool with one game to go, while Man City are three points clear in third but have a better goal difference.
Gunners will host Everton on Sunday, while Liverpool will battle Middlesbrough at home and City journey to Watford, but for now Wenger was just happy to get the win.
He told BBC Sport: “We had plenty of shots on goal but we needed to be patient. We were frustrated at half-time not to be leading.
“We made 71 points and were second. We now have 72 and want to go to 75. After that you deal with what happens.
“We’ve got in on the final day many times. Sunderland fought and you want that in the Premier League – that’s what you want from every team.
“We had a difficult patch after the Bayern game because it was difficult to recover. On the other hand it was a good mental test and we responded in a strong way.”
As for the usual question concerning his future, Wenger once again evaded it with a very straight bat.
He added: “At the moment let’s focus. We have a big game again on Sunday and then an FA Cup final – let’s sort that out first.”
