Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. Hazard operation a success; Chelsea release return date

Chelsea have confirmed Eden Hazard will be out for three months after undergoing surgery on his right ankle on Monday.
The 26-year-old playmaker sustained the injury in training with the Belgium national team on Sunday.
A statement on the Premier League champions’ website read: “Eden Hazard successfully underwent surgery today after sustaining a fracture to his right ankle while training with the Belgian national team. He is expected to return to training in approximately three months.”

Hazard posted a picture of himself in his hospital bed on his Twitter handle alongside a caption which read: “Everything went well with my ankle operation, now I start the road to recovery! I will be stronger. Thank you for your support!!”
Hazard who played a major role in the Blues 2016/17 title success, will miss out on the first month of the 2017/18 campaign, which starts in less than 10 weeks’ time on August 12.

Speaking on Sunday, Hazard said he would be delighted to remain at Stamford Bridge – but admitted an approach from Champions League winners Real Madrid would be surely considered.
Asked if he would like to see an offer, the player, who has three years left on his contract at Chelsea, told the Het Laatste Nieuws newspaper: ”Of course, that’s all.
“We all dream. It could be Spain, it could be staying with Chelsea.
”I think I can stay with Chelsea for many years, but it’s not something I’m thinking about right now. We’ll see.
”Previously we talked about PSG (Paris St Germain), now about (Real) Madrid, next year it will be a different club.
”In football you never know, but at the moment it’s not in my mind. I’m a Chelsea player, I have another contract for three years. We’ll see.”
Asked if he watched Real’s Champions League final win against Juventus, Hazard continued: ”Yes, but if I ever wanted to go to Real, I could get there (and be) on the bench. I want the best solution for myself.”
On Chelsea’s campaign, he added: ”We had a great season with (manager Antonio) Conte. We want to continue this season, now that we also play Champions League.
”We know it’s hard to conquer two titles in England, but we’re going to try it. It’s a pleasure to work with Conte.”

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley opened up that his naivety made him make some "unacceptable" decisions when he first took over the club.  In an exclusive interview with  Sky Sports , which will be aired on Sunday evening’s ‘Mike Ashley: Speaks Direct’ special on Sky Sports Premier League at 7pm, the 52-year-old directly disclosed all, following the marking of his 10 years at St James’ Park. Antoine Griezmann to consider Man Utd offer after U-turn

Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann is reportedly still considering an offer to join Manchester United this summer. The offer has been connected with a move to Old Trafford since the beginning of the summer and a possible twist at Atletico could provoke him to leave for the Premier League. A report in  Don Balon  claims the Frenchman would be willing to join United if Atletico decided to sell goalkeeper Jan Oblak to PSG.
