Neymar takes a dig at Barça

Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. The country, the city and the team change, but football is the same.” After Jordan Ikoko’s own goal gave PSG a 52nd-minute lead, Neymar brilliantly set up Edinson Cavani to make it 2-0 before opening his account for the club with a simple close-range finish with eight min...

Muller and Neymar top Woodward's Man Utd "fantasy list"

Ed Woodward is reportedly to have wish list of four “fantasy signings” that he would love to bring to Manchester United if possible.
Woodward was established as the club’s executive vice-chairman in 2012, and was placed in charge of transfers at Old Trafford the next summer.
His record is frequently criticised, with Marouane Fellaini the only major signing in his first year, while pursuits for Cesc Fabregas, Thiago Alcantara and Gareth Bale have all been public and seen as embarrassing failures.

United have made just one signing so far this summer, and that is defender Victor Lindelof, but Woodward has a list of four players that he ‘dreams’ of bringing to the Old Trafford.
On top the said list is Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now potentially available after reports claimed that he was ‘sad’ at Real Madrid and looking to leave the club.
The Portugal international could cost from around £847m to £122m however, and so the delicate and costly nature of negotiations could likely discouraged any club at the moment.
Woodward chased a move to bring Ronaldo back to United in 2013, but the 32-year-old preferred staying in Spain. The striker is one out of the four players the executive vice-chairman ‘dreams’ of signing, however.
James Robson of the Manchester Evening News claims that Woodward has a shortlist of ‘fantasy’ signings, including one of Ronaldo’s teammates. He writes:
“Ronaldo is in a bracket of fantasy signings Woodward dreams of delivering to investors on the New York Stock Exchange that also includes Gareth Bale, Neymar and Thomas Muller.”
