Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. Ronaldo makes agent plea to force dream Man Utd return

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told his agent to seal a dream return to his former club - Manchester United this summer.

The 32-year-old, who left Manchester United for Real Madrid eight years ago, shocked the La Liga giants after revealing his desire to leave them come last Friday.

The Portuguese is currently facing allegations of a £13million tax fraud and now doubts over his Real future is looking gloomy and have ignited a frantic move for his services.

United, along with Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich are all interested on the forward, with the French outfit ready to drop £122m to pen him plus a tremendous salary of £26m per year, according to The Sun report.

However, the Portugal international favours a return to Old Trafford and has instructed his representative, fellow Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes, to do everything possible to make his wish a reality after ignoring pleas from Real boss Zinedine Zidane to reconsider his position.

A major stumbling block will have to be settled if any deal were to go through, however, after Ronaldo fell out with then Real boss Jose Mourinho during the current Manchester United manager’s final season in charge at The Bernabeu.

Mourinho is reportedly ready to forget everything place a bid to bring his countryman back to Old Trafford this summer.
