Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. Trio target Chris Smalling as Man Utd stick to modest price on defender

Chris Smalling has got three clubs to choose from - between West Ham, West Brom and Everton after being told he can leave Manchester United this summer.
The England defender looks to become one of the fall players of Jose Mourinho’s summer recruitment plan at Old Trafford, with reports claiming that he will make way for £30.7million to swoop Victor Lindeof.
And the Daily Telegraph reported that Smalling will be made obtainable for just £15million after being viewed surplus to requirements by boss Mourinho.
The paper suggest Mourinho has serious unstated doubt that Smalling is good enough for the club, while the United boss has also questioned the 27-year-old mindset on several occasions during the season. 
The England defender missed six weeks of the season due to a broken toe in a Europa League win over Fenerbahce at Old Trafford in October that resulted in Mourinho questioning his desire to play through the pain barrier.
Smalling has recently changed agents in a bid to help him get the best move and West Ham, West Brom and Everton are three of the clubs monitoring him. 
Reports have also indicated that West Ham are leading the race for the Greenwich-born star, who joined United in a £12million deal from Fulham back in January 2010.
However, Everton also believe they have a good chance of signing the defender, who is settled in the north-west and wouldn’t have to leave the area if he were to join Ronald Koeman’s side. 
Smalling has made 243 appearances during his six-and-a-half-year stay at Old Trafford, but has fallen way down Mourinho’s pecking order.
The defender was voted Players’ Player of the Year for United at the end of former manager Louis van Gaal’s last season in charge. But Mourinho wants to partner Eric Bailly with Lindelof, while Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones are the preferred back-up options, leaving Smalling as an outcast.

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley opened up that his naivety made him make some "unacceptable" decisions when he first took over the club.  In an exclusive interview with  Sky Sports , which will be aired on Sunday evening’s ‘Mike Ashley: Speaks Direct’ special on Sky Sports Premier League at 7pm, the 52-year-old directly disclosed all, following the marking of his 10 years at St James’ Park. Antoine Griezmann to consider Man Utd offer after U-turn

Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann is reportedly still considering an offer to join Manchester United this summer. The offer has been connected with a move to Old Trafford since the beginning of the summer and a possible twist at Atletico could provoke him to leave for the Premier League. A report in  Don Balon  claims the Frenchman would be willing to join United if Atletico decided to sell goalkeeper Jan Oblak to PSG.
