Neymar Jnr insists leaving Barcelona for Paris St Germain will not be the end of his football career after scoring a goal at his debut game. The Brazil international made an impact in his first game since completing a world-record 222million euro (£200.6million) move with a goal and an assist as PSG cruised to a 3-0 win at Guingamp. Critics argued that leaving Barcelona for Ligue 1 is a set back, but the 25-year-old is happy to prove them wrong and his content at the moment. “I knew it would be very difficult to leave Barca but I am very happy to be here,” he said in quotes reported by L’equipe, “People think that you die after leaving Barca, but no, it’s the opposite. I’m more alive than ever, I play, I’m very happy. The country, the city and the team change, but football is the same.” After Jordan Ikoko’s own goal gave PSG a 52nd-minute lead, Neymar brilliantly set up Edinson Cavani to make it 2-0 before opening his account for the club with a simple close-range finish with eight min...

Liverpool & West Ham target refuses to rule out PL move

Benfica striker Raul Jimenez has refused to rule out any possible move to the Premier League this summer, with Liverpool and West Ham both showing an interest in him.
There are reports coming out of Portugal which claim that Jimenez has refused to ‘close the doors’ on his future, with the Mexican set to receive a substantial “financial offer” from an unspecified English club.
Liverpool and West Ham have been listed as potential buyers for the 26-year-old, who has scored 12 times in 54 appearances for his country, according to the report in The Independent.
When asked about a possible switch to England’s top flight, Jimenez said: “The Premier League is a great league, but you have to wait.
“I don’t close any doors and we’ll see what happens. I’m still at Benfica. Now, I’m going to have a good vacation then go back to work with everything.
“I saw the [transfer rumour] came out but I don’t know anything. I was concentrating on the national team. I have a date to return to Benfica, to join the pre-season games and I’m in the club’s hands.”
Jimenez moved to Europe from Mexican side America in 2014 when he joined Atletico Madrid but couldn't impress the club and had to leave a season later to Benfica for €21.8m clause.
During his stay at Portugal, he scored 12 goals in 47 league appearances.
